Job Description
I. QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, training, and/or ability required. - Communicate in English at a level that allows successful performance of essential job functions. Applies basic reading and writing skills normally acquired through high school graduation, or equivalent. Applies knowledge of assembly techniques, terminology and repair/rework skills acquired through specific training and/ or experience in electronics/mechanical assembly.
- Normally requires 0-5 years of directly related experience. May be skilled in the use of hand tools and soldering techniques.
- This position may start as an entry-level position and candidates must be able to progress through this position with common sense and on the job training by other higher level assemblers.



II. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- Must be able to adhere to BCP Systems' workmanship standards.
- Assembles and attaches functional and cosmetic hardware such as caps, knobs and logos to assemblies using hand and power tools.
-Adapt to situations requiring the precise attainment of set limits, tolerances, or standard.
-Reworks rejected subassemblies using hand tools and/ or soldering equipment to correct workmanship discrepancies.
- Verifies and ensures electrostatic material is processed properly.
- Performs related duties as required.



III. INDEPENDENCE OF ACTION
The amount of supervision/direction received, and the degree of job structure in terms of established experience, knowledge of policies and procedures.

- Performs duties under normal supervision following established procedures and guidelines.



IV. WORK ENVIRONMENT

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to talk/hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee must occasionally lift and /or move up to 40 pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
