BKO Printer HP LaserJet 1160 BP-RET-150 Printer takes too long to print and sometimes it just acts like it is going to print but nothing comes up. Verify printer is the correct input voltage for the US (115VAC). Some 220VAC printers used in Europe have found their way into the US market and unfortunately they are not programmable to operate at 115VAC. The power supply on this unit is able to regulate at 115VAC but not good enough to properly work. Look at the manufacturer label and verify the input voltage rating is 115VAC.
BKO Printer Lexmark E260D BP-RET-151 Printer prints very lightly New printers comes new with a 'starter' toner cartridge which is only rated for 1000-pages. The customer should order high-yield toner cartridges which are rated at 3500-pages (BCP part number BP-RET-151-1).

Cash Drawer BP-RET-040 Cash Drawer will not open This problem is sometimes caused by a piece of paper or a bill stuck behind the till. Open the cash drawer using the key and verify there is nothing obstruction the action of the solenoid.
Cash Drawer BP-RET-040 Cash Drawer will not open This problem can sometimes be caused by excessive pulling pressure on the RJ type connector at the end of the signal cable at the bottom of the cash drawer. Make sure the back rubber feet under the cash drawer did not come loose as that will also put pressure on the cable and cause intermittent connection problems.
Cash Drawer BP-RET-040 Register displays 'CLOSE CASH DRAWER' Remove till and verify nothing is obstructing the open/close sensor switch. Pieces of paper sometimes fall in this area and cause intermittent problems with the open/close detection system.

SUREPOS Computer BP-RET-010 Will not load application The Retalix application can take up to 6-hours to download depending on the network connection speed. We have found that most problems have been resolved unfortunately by re-loading the application.
SUREPOS Computer BP-RET-010 Left side of the screen is wavy Possible problem caused by defective memory stick on the motherboard. This unit normally has one 1GB and one 512MB memory sticks so try running the computer with only one stick and then the other.
UPS BP-RET-090 Beeps, lights on front flicker. Makes clicking sounds then OK for a few hours, and then comes back again. Verify battery connections are properly inserted. It is possible that one of the terminals is loose or under the male pin instead of being inserted all the way into it.
UPS BP-RET-090 No Power These units ship new with the battery disconnected. Open battery compartment and verify that battery is properly connected. Make sure terminals are inserted all the way in.
VLINX Serial Server BP-RET-250 No power Most units returned to BCP Systems with this issue have been caused by a defective external power supply and not by the unit itself. Always try replacing the power supply with this type of issues. The power supply is only rated at 500ma (12VDC). The part number is BP-RET-250-1
